"Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn"

This quote from Benjamin Franklin perfectly encapsulates the philosophy behind my approach to teaching.

After obtaining a bachelor's degree in sciences, I worked fifteen years in Paris and five years in Mexico, as an export sales director and agent for chemistry in a tasteless world!

When I came to Norway, I changed my career by setting up my Company "La Table" with activities of catering, cooking classes for children and adults, and being a part-time teacher.

As far back as I can remember, I have always had a passion for world maps and cooking. Probably because my dad was a pastry chef, and because of my dreams to travel the world.

The twists and turns of your life can be unexpected and bring beautiful encounters. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was teaching my first cooking class to 5-10-year-old children at the Lycée Français d'Oslo and later at The Oslo International School.

As I continued to teach "Chemistry" in the Kitchen, I realized that the best way to foster learning is through play and experimentation. That's why I created Xplor, an interdisciplinary educational resource that sparks curiosity and allows children to discover the world.

For instance, did you know that the Italians did not produce pizza before the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors because tomatoes are native to South America? This simple starting fact inspired me to create The Xplor Games and my curiosity makes the rest...

Join us on a journey of culinary discovery and cultural exploration, where we learn by doing, and the possibilities are endless.
